Act 3 Scene 4 “Tempest” Analysis
Tempest——(The body’s delicate. The tempest in my mind, Doth from my senses take all feeling else)
Shakespeare uses the relationship between tempest and storm to describe how what is he is thinking is worse than any storm. He talks about how his mind is keeping him from feeling anything and only letting his mind ponder on whats tormenting him.
Tempest—–(This tempest will not give me leave to ponder, On things would hurt me more. But I’ll go in.)
This storm protects me from thoughts that would hurt me more. But I’ll go in.
